looks good 14/52 sounds REALLY low for gearing which explains your loosing some top end the flux is 20/44 so you probally ahve a little wiggle room for gearing

I was planning on getting a 47t spur and upping the pinion to 18t. But think I'll see about the 44t spur and either using my 18t or getting the 20t pinion
that might also tame the insane backflips down seeing it should drop the torque some.
