I dont lack steering just wanted more. I get enough grip in the corners to flip on my side. Hogging out the pillow blocks gave me the extra I needed to run on 1/10 scale tracks with cutbacksthat were hosting 1/8th events. The 6T is supposed to have more and better steering than the 5T but if there is room to eek out a little bit more I will generally do it. I do agree that before this step is taken you should get your setup where you want it and if you need more then by all means do it within reason.

i dont feel there's any reason to mod the pillow's for more steering....if your lacking steering its in your set-up NOT the truck itself.
