Default World Models Extra 30 Sport. Which engine?

The blue version is, ( I think), no longer made. I got it as a cheap clearance from the UK importers of World Models, who also just happen to be my LHS.

I've never owned one of the Magnums, but when I've looked at them in my local shop, they seem VERY similar to the OS, so I assume the power output will be about the same.

With the OS52 up front, the Extra would hover, for a short while any way, but it was a little lacking in power to pull out from the vertical.

For general sport flying it was much more than ample. The day I test flew it, the grass on our strip had not been cut due to rain, and was very long + causing all sorts of problems for people flying 40 - 46 powered trainers. I figured that the drag from the grass would stop it getting in the air, but when I pushed the throttle stick forward, it shot away like it was on smooth concrete and was airborn in 20 feet! Great Fun!
