I have flown pattern since 1981. (back when it was fast and fun). I did the whole 2 meter thing about four years ago, unfortunately my pattern flying buddy moved to another state because of his job, so I devoted myself to flying r/c combat. I actually finished second in intermediate at a contest flying a .90 size ARF in North Texas back then. Only two entries, however. I'm not sponsored by anyone, I don't wear a radio mfg's shirt, nor do I have a fancy trailer to haul my stuff in. If I'm able to come, I'll be flying a 1990's Dalotel with an OS 1.20 on it. Budget pattern. I do use my proprietary glow fuel, GCBM R/C Glowplugboy Glow Fuel. I guess I'm sponsored by myself.
