Again I would have to say Alan has gone backwards with the design if it wont fly with a 14lb turbine, Bring back the intro, if it's not broken don't fix it !

One of our guys has a intro with a P80 and uses standard wire 'spring air' retracts, and he never seems to have any problems with them so a good light weight option.

Actually a wren 54 powered intro with fixed gear, flys better, will fly slower, lands slower and takes off shorter than a P80 powered retract version. Only advantage a P80 has is faster.
