I got an email from Futaba advising me that the inner yellow pushrod of the Sullivan Nyrod can be used to cover the entire antenna including the ends. It will provide more support just where you need it. I'll attach an image of one of my installations. I have tested the in flight rang to be almost beyond sight. It looks like you are well on your way to some successful flying so please keep us posted. Dan.
