Sorry for laughing but at one of my clubs we have lost a lot of planes in the corn!! Fodder grass too!! Whats really fun is when the harvester drivers bring in planes that have been sucked up through the machines. I was surprised at how well the parts survive, engines and servos. Planes, not som much!! I can't think of any plane I have ever built that would be good for farm field landings. I did fly from a rough mountain field, tall weeds and gopher holes. I usually flew fun fly type of planes there, the Up-Roar or Fun-51 type.I made my own LG, I bent and soldered braces onto wire landing gear, worked pretty good but I still ended up with a lot of holes in my covering from stick ups.
