I have a new plane with split elevators and i need o figure out how to make them work as ''one''. I hward of the tiny box that takes to control rods and makes them one but i was thinking of just using 2 servos instead. Any other methods or suggestions?
you have a few ways depending on the size of the elevator you can connect them using music wire bent into a joiner drill holes in each half and epoxy them to the wire.
you can make a pushrod with a Y split mid fuse a little soldering skill is required but its not hard.
use dual servos, and a servo reversing Y harness and mechanicly adjust the servos so the 2 halfs are matched.
or use a match box the Futaba version is called a MSA-10, you can adjust the servos independently I have one it works good.
