I have the same "mount" your talking about installed on the back of my mantlet (Not the tube). I'm trying the emitter in the gun barrel since our club does not require the flash to be used. Our field is outdoors, and in the bright Phoenix sunlight, the flash cannot be seen during the day anyway. Our night battles are a different story though.
