Looks like a soft cutoff as you still had idle. When I flew my Heli with A123s I just removed the cutoff voltage and timed my flight. A123s are good , will you be able to incorporate 10s2p on the LA7?
can't go 10S2P since that will go over the 50v ESC limit but I could do 14S. I will see what kind of performance I get before moving to four more cells. I don't think I ''over-amp'd'' the ESC as the watt meter shows 45 amps at full throttle...this is an 85HV ESC. I am not sure why it cut out at the field but on two sunsequent runs when I got home, I had no issues at all. Now, I need to get a spinner from Tomas. I sent him an email but no answer
After thinking about it over the past day or so, I am pretty certain that I pulled at least one cell below the de-fault 3.0v/cell that the ESC comes programmed with. Once I re-programmed the LVC to 2.4v/cell, the throttle issue went away. I will plan to fly it again this Saturday (if I get my spinner in time)
