You don't have to use epoxy, you can use dope or polyurethane, both of which can be thinner in consistency. I use a miniature paint roller to wet out the fabric which easily removes all the excess resin to keep your surfaces light and smooth. keep in mind you'll still need primer if the weave is showing if finish is important. Where are you finding cloth for $10 a rol?
