Firebird Outlaw
The outlaw is a great plane for the money. I also am new to the hobby, and that is the only plane I own right now. It is very easy to fly, and very durable. I would definitly recommend it, and you will definitly have fun. Just a few tips though.
1 take it out on a very calm morning to fly it, you will have the
most success. A day where you can't even feel the wind, and
every flag on a pole is just hanging down.
2 When your flying, and you are trying to turn, let off on the
throttle a little, it will turn a lot easier.
3 Trying to land into the wind, ( which you are suppose
to ) is a little tough, because it is so light, the slightest
wind wants to push it off line. When you are flying around,
practice flying straight into the wind, it will help you with your
landings. The plane is so durable that even if the landings are
a little hard, and the plane goes cartwheeling, it holds up well
( on grass ). Again, you will definitly have fun.
