A flat bed scanner is a good way to do little flat objects. Here are the boring bar pictures. The black marks are for depth of cut. Basically a boring bar is a lathe tool sideways on the end of a stick. If you can make a lathe tool bit you can do this. Old two flute milling cutters make excellent boring bars. Drill bits work too.
