What I'm about to tell you is top secret... well, very few wives read these right? lol. The secret to getting things you want from your wife is to build up the wife bank. The bank accepts deposits of all sorts. Honey dos, the occasional jewelry, flowers, romantic dinner, short trips etc. Once the bank has enough goodwill, its time to make a withdraw.

Now there are several ways to make a withdraw. You can't just withdraw the whole amount or you risk an overdraft fee. That fee can be substantial btw... anyway, sometimes its best to test the waters before diving in. One way is the bait and switch method. Work up a price for the most expensive jet and gear you can find and show it to her. She will be appalled and strongly voice her concerns over the expense. Then you come back a day later and tell her, "you know, your absolutely correct", I have gone back and cut more than half the expense out of this for another package that is way less expensive. Explain to her that even though the other guys are all using the more expensive setup, you would be happy with this one because it would at least still allow you to be in turbines...etc. etc.

Now the only way this will work is right after you make your withdraw from the bank. Wait to long and those wife funds will become null and void. She will definitely feel sorry for you and agree to the transaction. Moreover, she will feel guilty because you just made a HUGE withdrawal from the wife bank. Perfect timing.

Don't even attempt this if your wife bank funds are low.
