RE: Nitro RS4 Electric conversion
I thought the same thing regarding the throttle Servo. I initially removed it but in fact it will be needed. The spur gear is on a one-way bearing that spins freely one way and locks the other, so that it may have forward drive, but not reverse. Now seeing as all the braking in an electric vehicle is controlled by the motor, nothing will happen to the rs4 when u go to brake. So the throttle servo is needed for braking but not acceleration. The only other way I can think of would be to weld the spur to the drive shaft. That way i would have reverse also. But I can't weld haha.
Yeah my LHS told me about the problem with the tyres ballooning. What is or how do you belt the tyres?
