I know what you mean. The 1/6th figures clothing often does look bulky and doesn't really sit and fold naturally. We're finding however that in the larger scales, by using appropriately fine fabric it does look quite convincing. The first uniforms I made I used sheeting which was quite coarse but gave me the chance to hack it up and test the pattern out. They are the first pics posted. Since then I've used a fine weave poly cotton and the difference is enormous. I guess the challenge is to find the right stuff but as you say there'd be plenty of people who would be happy to paint the clothing as well.

More hours in a day needed.
