Installing floats on a Pico 1/5 scale Waco YMF-3

Hello guys, I'm new at RCU. I hope you don't mind me stepping in on your conversations. I wish I had found this website sooner! I started building a Pico 1/5 Waco YMF-3 with floats. I've been reading your post and have leaned so much. If I had found RCU sooner, I wouldn't have installed those corny plastic wing strut L brackets and a few other things that could have been better. But it's to late for that already installed. I have been building & flying RCs since the early 70s, but this is my first Waco. I've had this Waco kite up in the closet for 15 or more years and just now started working on it. I have a few questions on the aft strut application if you guys don't mind helping me out on this. I want this to be scale or at least as close as possible. I don't plan on this plane being a showpiece. But would like it to look kinda scale. I love Waco's and don't plan on this being my last Waco to build. I would love building a 33% Waco but I just don't have the room for one that big.
I really enjoy reading your Waco YMF post on here, but I don't understand how to start a new post on the Subject ''Float installation on a Waco'' I'm looking for people that have installed floats and keeping it scale and actually flown it off the water. Can anyone help me out here? Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
Please accept my apology for interrupting you.

Gerry PS: what's with ''Awaiting Approval? I couldn't add a Subject''
Gerry,

You are welcome to join us, and do your float posting right here. I've long considered doing just that to one of mine. Hop right in and have at it.
