Waco on Floats

That's a good photo of a Waco on floats. Why would you have to get the nerve to fly off water? Airplanes track better on water and land beautifuly. Takes more power getting her up and away, but it's so worth it. Floats should be planed when building and not an after thought when the plane is built, plus the plane should be water proof in case of dipping in the lake. I prefer flying off water then land. But it depends if your clost to water I guess. Thanks for sharing the photo.
