Awesome, thanks heaps for your help mate! I'm going to keep it the way it is now and just see how it goes but will definately change it so that I have reverse in the future.

So I made a mount for the battery. I actually made two. I didn't like the first, it stuck up too much and it was heavy. This thing is really turning out to be quite a heavy car.

Here's some pics of both the mounts I made. The second one is the one I'm going with.
