It is not JUST the gas used in some small engines...it is also mostley the quality of the rubber components used in the fuel system. Look at and compare the rubber products used on about anything over time. There is a great rip-off of expensive rubber parts made just a few years back. Those parts are cracked & ready to fail. I feel we got to really complain about anyhing with rubber parts where the parts fail in a short time. Take motorcyle rubber parts for example. They are expensive to replace. The makers of these products do not care....they make a mint on replacement rubber parts. I have a chainsaw I sold my son in law that iis 20 years old...never put a new part in the carb. They did make high quality rubber...and still can...if they want too! You really got to look at all ages of rubber products to see this.

The bottom line is demand a higher quality of rubber in all our products we buy. Capt,n
