I'm lusting big time to install floats on my Waco. Ihad this kitin the closet for over 15 yrs and something made me take it down and start building.The one thing I love about Waco's YMFs is the landing gear and thebig wheel pants, it really brings out the beauty in Waco's. That'sone problem with installing floats, floats are cool,but not beautiful like biglanding gear on this plane.I should have been reading this threads way before now, I made my cowling the way the plans called for with the blisters in pairs, so I guess it's a UMF-3 now. I didn't know that until I started reading here.

I just got my floats today, so I can start building again. Once the floats are built and I mount themon the Fuse. I'll post photos and see what you guys think. I have along way to go, just the bottom half of the Fuse is done. I think,like in the photo you posted, the AFT strut will be attached to the bulkhead just forward the wing. I'm going to try that and see how it will works. If you guys are interested in things coming, I keep posting as I go.
