Check your clutch shoes and springs. If the clutch is sticking it will cause the engine to stall and it will also cause you to have to keep the brakes on to hold the truck in place.
If the clutch is good check the piston and sleeve to make sure you didnt get any dirt in there. Do you always store the piston at BDC when you are done running?
agree check the clutch 1st something similar happened to me last year. my clutch shoes melted and were getting stuck to the bell and I had to hold the brake as hard as possible to keep it stopped. I actually melted a brake disk from it too. Took the clutch apart the shoes were so deformed they were actually melted to the bell housing.
