Default RE: Field for large jets in Northern California

Hey Arnaud,
I fly in oakdale and it's just a dream site really... I also fly at two sites in livermore.
I'll be up at your sccmas tomorrow for your electric meet

But back to oakdale... it's got a 1000' x abot 100' perfect paved runway... nice lake behind you and you can camp any time out there.
I fly my electric jets out there all the time and it's unrestricted airspace...

one thing is once it gets dry jets don't fly... it's sort of an unwritten rule after a big fire out there.. but talk to the officals and see what they say
it's by far the best site I've everyflown at in california and I don't think I've missed many.. I'd take it over buttonwillow

The first post in this link has some god pictures of the site: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...kdale+jet+meet

if you want to fly as my guest one weekend let me know
Ron
