Default RE: Viper Jet 2M Pointers/ tips.

Hey Mitch.
I think the 2M would make a great second plane. The slow speed handling of mine is superb. I am advising to those looking at getting one, to go for the paint in mould option. For the single reason of keeping the model light.
I am confident that the jet has enough wing to cope with the extra weight, but at the same time I think that the main reason that the 2m flies so well is its low wing loading.
I made a demo flight with my 2m this weekend which was my first 2m flight in a few weeks. I almost forgot how good this jet is. It tracks so well and flies so smoothly. All the controls are so well harmonised.. I love it!
We had the new Jet cat GPS/ Telemetry fitted and landings speeds were in the low 30 mph's! I did a descending tight finals ( Something I haven't done since the A-10) The approach started overhead at about 75 feet with one tight descending circuit which never went more than 100 ft away it touched happily on a spot below where it started from. There are not too many models that I know that will do this and not drop a wing!
Hope this helps?
Regards Al
