Sorry about the loss. That was one big mess !!! It's part of the hobby, but have a Happy Birthday. Like Crash Campbell, I too take a electric powered glider with me to the field so if I have a problem I'll have some thing to fly. When testing a new plane, I always take two other planes with me if I am going to be at the field most of the day. It's easy for me to say take a couple of planes, I have about 80 planes with 30 ready to fly/crash.
