RE: Motor Size For J3 Cub?
Though it's not on your list, I've got a Saito 82 on my H-9 Cub. It's alot more power than it needs, but it flys great at under half throttle and sounds great. The 82's extra power will be useful for the eventual floats and for towing that are in my plans. IMHO, the 82 will also be more versitile (size) should you decide to swap it to another airframe at some point given the current options out there.
The H-9 Cub is a great flyer!
