Sun. 5/16/10  I flew my UCD for the first time.   I am somewhat disappointed .  After spending all that money.<div>
<div> 1. Slow roll rate (even at 3D setting)</div><div>
</div><div> 2. Very slow vertical  -Prop 16x4  with new OS 91  4stroke . </div><div>
</div><div> 3. will not hover ( wind was 6 M.P.H.)</div><div>
</div><div> 4. feels very nose heavy  ( C.G. 5 1/2 ")</div><div>
</div><div> 5. I was expecting it to be like the yak on the flight simulator.</div><div>
</div><div> 6. Knife Edge takes full 3 D rate rudder and full thro. </div><div>
</div><div> 7. Flew like a 747 other than take off roll of 10' with flaps down.</div><div>
</div><div> 8. Inverted took lots of down ele.</div><div>
</div><div> On the bright side . This is easier to fly than a trainer . 5 flights , 2 dead sticks, all perfect landings.  </div><div> Flaperons worked perfect for take off and landing.  Trim was perfect  other than 2 clicks of up ele.</div><div>
</div><div>So to all beginners -   After sim time.  Try this trainer.</div><div>
</div><div>Next flight  I will try a 6" C G   and a 15x5 and 15x6 prop. </div><div>Do you have any thoughts ?   </div></div>
