love the look and performance of the Electra, but 8k plus for an electric-phew
It's actually closer to 6K than 8K
If you add 2 sets of batteries it is more like 10K I know I purchased one.

Did you purchase it built by someone else? I just added all the parts up with radio gear and one set of batteries on the BVM website and came up with right at 6300.
I have around 300 flights on my Electra, I broke one set of flex plates before I added the CF stiffeners, I fly off a rough grass field at home with no issues. I fly mine aggressively as well.
From posts in this thread and others the original poster is obviously on a witch hunt, and has an axe to grind.
