If you are bored with 2S, i say go for it. 3S won't break anything. It's the driver that does the breaking. Just learn some throttle control...and although 3S isn't really
needed, it sure is nice to have there when you want it. I don't even bother running my 2S now. My 7 year old runs it in his rusty.
