i was out playing with my jato when it starting to bogg i check the temp and it was fine then it turn off no noise, then i tried to start it bac up and it was locked i tried to move the piston with the flywheel that was pretty hard but itmoved. i took apart the engine and saw that there was metal in there i saw a little pieceof metal that holds the rod in the piston(the piston is fine) chipped and thats what caused the engine not to rotate. should i replace the piston and sleeve or get another engine for my jao 3.3?
you should be able to replace piston/sleeve assembly. if your going to take one from another engine, you should take crank and all. inspect the bearings to make sure there is no damage.
