NO REPLY...A UPDATE
Well at 9 AM I had my DLE30 running great. This afternoon I thought I would start it up to make sure things are right. well it does not want to pull fuel up ...just like before. That carb is coming apart to see whats up. I guess I will solder that hole shut in choke plate first! Capt,n
2nd update
I did notice my fuel level in tank was down to1/4 full. Also my tank on test stand is maybe 3 inches below center of carb. I filled the tank up and it will at least now pull the fuel up and the engine now starts & runs good again. When I place fuel tank in my airplane...it will be high enough for a easy fuel pull-up to carb. I think I will also close that hole off in the choke plate. Maybe someday I will be flying the new Giles 202....not a Midwest Giles. Take Care Capt,n
