Hmmmm. I Doubt that. Perhaps most folks who invest the $$ in hiigh-end jets also spring for redundancy, but surely you are not implying that the redundancy
causes more crashes than it prevents?
Goofy/fancy complication? Yes. Pure and simple redundancy? Not IMO.
