There is a TFR planned for 5/27 through 5/31. It should not effect Rusty's event. The TFR will be centered at 41.47.14N / 087.34.21W, or the CGT VOR on the 358 radial at 16.6 NM. The 30 mile ring would knick the DPA airport but its circumference shouldfall east of oronthe Fox River. Let's hope it doesn't become a roving TFR if POTUS decides to wander around the burbs. Hard to know where and when if he does that.

Like a few others, I've had very little practice time but I'm going to try to get to FVAC on Friday to get a few flights in and then just go for it. Going with an old scratch built Kaos 60, just couldn't get the Tiger Tail ready.
It'll be well worth it just to see some of those flyers I watched in awe and envy three decades ago.
