i let my eldest son play with mine, he ran it into the wall around the lake, he went in and got it, he got distracted so thats the end of that
to much damage for a repair job, the only problem i found was when you just let go of the throttle in an emergency, the boat wants to become a submarine and dive, good thing for hatch tape plus the hatch did'nt fit properly, i alsoswapped out for a stronger servo
This is something I've ran into as well. I was playing with mine in my brother's pool and it "submarined" 12ft underwater. a foot or so wouldn't be an issue, but the water pressure at 12ft. under water is extreme for mere hatch tape! I had water fill the entire boat in seconds and it very slowly rose to the surface. The receiver got wet and the boat went crazy!
Basically, if you cut the throttle, give the boat time to level out before gunning the throttle!
