Chicago Classic Pattern Championships!

These guys came here to fly and from 9:00AM until after Dave and I left @ 6:30...they were still flying. Tipos, Phoenix 7s, XLT, Kaos, Calypso, Blue Angel, Aurora...fast, smooth and just a great day meeting new people from all over the country.

The Blue Angel was maidened today...okay, this is a very good model airplane. The way too rare Hatori muffler fell off and Gary and Chris found it in the short corn rows!!! We got to fly it some more and it is just great.

Mike McConville brought the Phoenix 7...no one believes me when I tell them how powerful the little short stroke .61 from Evolution. Crazy amounts of power!!!
