S&S - thanks for the Monokote tips. This is the first time I've installed Robart hinges and I'm seeing that they leave more of a gap than the stock hinges that come with the Rev. Looks like the gap is a necessary evil of the hinge point. does this sound right? And with this gap I can see the need for the clear Monokote to tape it over.
btw - I'm making good progress today with my Revolver 70 build. Starting yesterday I stripped my old Rev 70 - the one I crashed in the morning - and am building the new one with all of the parts. Because I had all the "engineering" figured out already this build is going pretty fast - am hoping I can finish it tonight. Will be a new world's build record for me!
