RE: Larger Revolver
If you are using the Robart Hinge Points you should have no problem with getting anice hinge line with very little gap. Not sure why you would think that you are going to have a larger gap that with the stock type of hinge.
Are you notching trailing and leading edges just a little to allow the hinge point joint to be right on the line for your control surfaces.
