You got me thinking microdon. Remember! the plane does call for a .61 2 stroke. I am only upgrading to a .91 stroke. The plane is going to weigh close to 9Lbs. I have had a fast airplanes (Dirty Birdies, Utter Kaos and, many others) with fiber hinges and, lasted for years. I would have used the Robarts if the plane would weigh more than 11Lbs. Fiber hinges work great and, last if installed right.
