The 30% is basically finished, I am doing the finishing touches. Running all servos wires ect! ect! I just asked Dan (you know on FG) regarding servo arm lentghts. I have the Hangar 9 1.25'' arms and, the arms hit the servo arm opening in the horizontal stabs. Either I need longer arms or reduce the travel on my trasnmitter??
Ya just reduce the throw on your radio. That's what I did. I already have the the horns on the surface out like 1.25 inches and with 1 1/4" arms I still get 50* of throws! lol. I only had to reduce them very slightly to not hit the stab cut-outs. I definately wouldn't go with longer arms, or you've just halved your servo's torque... Let me know when your finished! BTW if you're unaware the plane comes out quite tail heavy, so do what you can to keep the innards up front. MY RTF weight came in at 15.75lbs on 1485 squares w/ DLE-55 which is a floater!!! It's literally unlimited vertical at 1/2 throttle. You're gonna love it.
