i'm trying to be nice but c'mon read my post verbatim and stop adding your own words, it says THIS thread not mine, yes running a lower kv on more voltage will give you a cooler running set up but 2300 kv is also the motor upgrade the engineer of this boat suggests. Glad your a having success running 5s i just blew my esc on my set up. ( 2300 kv turnigy motor, stock esc, and x437 sbp) but i also made 8 runs before that happened so i think something may have clogged my water pick up and i didn't catch it.
