ORIGINAL: four slot

You know when I started looking on this forum thats what I thought this hobby was about, Then as I started learning more about this hobby there was this IR tamiya compatible system that of course cost alot of money. I thought that is kinda stupid, I thought you actually shoot something. Then I saw HL that have both IR and airsoft that actually shoots something. And then this video comes along......neat-o-keen or what, that is the way to go.You shoot pellets that explode on impact I agree 100%. So if you get a little damage then you repair it. This Tamiya system as cool as it is you spend what upwards of $1000.00, well you can get at least 5 HL's for that amount and just as much fun.Don't the ship guys do this
EXACTLY..Tamiya's are very nice but grossly overpriced(would rather have 3 or 4 HL's then 1 Tamiya). As an actual airsofter I have to say that 350FPS(feet per second) is a bit too powerful in my opinion for tank wars you could easliy blow parts of a tank with the right hits. I think the stock system with 6mm paintballs would be fine, but you could have a "modified" class with the up-gunned systems, but if I did that I would just run bone-stock tanks as they will definately take damage from close up hits(still cool as hell). just have two classes... "stock" & "modified" like RC cars...
