Rajul It is the Mac version patch I downloaded.. I just tried it again and no go I also checked the previous download to make sure that it was the correct one and it is.
I don't know if I really need this patch unless it must be installed before future patches might be needed. The sim runs just fine now. But I'm one of those people that if something is supposed to work and it doesn't then I would like to try to figure it out.

Anyhow thank you so much for all your ideas and help past, present and future. You are one of the reasons I bought this sim. You always try to help every single request you get. Ikrus should be proud that they have a person such as you as their representative. The other flight sim people could learn a lesson from you on how to run a support site.
