I just saw your discussion regarding a 4 blade scale prop for a P-51. Have you considered electric drive or this option is dead on arrival? I am working on a drive for a 4 blade 38.4" diameter propeller and already have successfuly run a 2:1 system that drives a scale 31.5 X 31 prop for a scale model. Cost of building it was less than $200! It is much easier to do with electrics. If you are interested I would be happy to help.
