The Hawk uses less ground than the Flash, in take off and landing. 400' is fine.

I use the JR super servo arm (as photos and part No in the manual) Metal arms not needed.

The German guys just have one large nose door with a single ram, most UK guys have fitted a second ram and gone for "bomb" doors, you could use a Y connector and drive both nose doors with a single ram. It's only on the ground you notice the large single door.
