Guys,

Anyone else having problems with their Arleigh Burke Class DDG? I just got one a while ago and already I have had to change the rudder servo with a new Futaba coreless one (it literally just died), replace the Proboat ESC with a Viper ESC (it was buzzing and chattering horribly, not from interference). I also had to drill and install some oilers (there are none on the boat)on the shafts. I would have thought for six bills they would at least put a decent servo and esc in it. But, they didn't.


One other thing I installed was an on board sound system. I combined some sounds and put it on my IPod and some mini speakers. Have about 2 1/2 hours of a Navy band performing Anchors Aweigh, gas turbine start up and running sounds, horns blowing, bells chiming, klaxons, seagulls and orders coming over the loudspeakers. Anyway, the boat looks great and the detail is not too bad, either. Looks and sounds pretty cool in the water. I did post a couple of pictures of it in my gallery. I renamed and re lettered the ship the USS Momsen DDG-92.
