RE: Tulsa OK Contest June 5-6
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">I was just reading the Jetero post about Brett making an amazing save of an airplane. Well, at the Tulsa contest we had an amazing save as well. Chris White was flying P11 when his left elevator half stuck in full down causing the plane to start doing outside loops while also rolling to the right. Chris was able to get the plane on its back and without using elevator (which caused the plane to roll), stabilize the plane and basically float it down where he gently sat it down inverted in four foot tall grass. Everyone was on pins and needles as the plane did a slow crippled aerial ballet. One would be hard pressed to lay their plane down by hand as gently as he sat it down.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Chris carried the plane back, replaced the servo provided by Joe Dunnaway, and flew his next flight.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">We were all scratching our heads as to how Chris accomplished this.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Awesome job Chris!</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">Keith Black</div>
