it is actually the fill valve that is releasing the air the system is air up/down but it seems it only will only release the air when it gets to a low point of remaining air . this takes about 5 cycles of up/down
Interesting. Ive not run into that before. Its my experience that if the fill valve is functioning properly it should not leak air regardless of the systems pressure. Id be concerned that the valve could worsen over time and start leaking at even lesser cycles.
What brand of valve and model? How old is it?
