Ya know ron, you almost said it but not quite, most all car/truck engines will work in boats, high rpm no torque, tons of torque no rpm etc..just like with anything gearing is key and in boats the prop is the gearing, also remember there are no "boat" engines just modified plane engines made to think they are for something else, OS did make a special "car" engine but I havent seen one for years maybe a collectors item by now lol
