RE: Which acrobatic plane for YS120?
Not for 3-D. It calls for a 20cc gas to a 30cc gas so your YS is at the very bottom of the engine selection at 20cc four stroke. Just for grins go to Nitroplanes.com and look at there 90 to 1.20 planes. Not the greatest planes ever made but the price is right and they are really light weight. I have assembled several of them for people. They aren't going to be as nice as an Aeroworks but they are half the price. My YS is pulling a 68 inch CG Extra 300L kit built plane with an all up weight of 13 pounds. The weight and plane design isn't for 3-D but it is a perfect combo for IMAC flight. Vertical is very good but it can't pull itself out of a hover. That should help you figure out a ball park weight and size of plane your YS will pull. That video was really short? They didn't say what engine they had in it. Aeroworks is now using the 30cc DLE in there 1.20 YAK, that's what they are recommending anyway. They also sell DLE if that has anything to do with it?
