Default RE: WACO Custom Cabin Project

Might be able to salvage the root rib and some of the ribs from the tip. The aileron and flap are keepers too. Oh DUH! Y'know, sometimes I wonder how I ever got that degree in engineering. I too despise the thought of wasting all that material and time so guess what? One can take liberty in prototyping and that's exactly what we'll do- keep the top left wing intact, make the top right wing in the same fashion and use them to find and fix any remaining bugs in the overall design. When all is kosher then build the flying wings with spruce. I can't think of a better way to proof the drawings. It will be almost two weeks until the spruce gets here and I'll be able to keep working on it in the meantime. Sound like a plan?

Believe it or not Cody, I actually did think about building a fuselage frame of tubing. The 1/4 scale factory drawings show every detail needed. It is possible to do of course so why not do it? Well, I'm old and would like to see this project finished before judgment day!
